Almond and Fresh Peach Bread


  • 2 Large peaches, semi firm and ripe
  • 1/3 cup Butter, at room temperature
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • 2 ½ tbsp. Brown sugar
  • 1 Large egg, at room temperature
  • ½ cup Regular vanilla yogurt, plus an extra 2 tbsp.
  • 2 tbsp. Milk, at room temperature
  • ½ tsp. Vanilla
  • 1 ¾ cups All-purpose flour
  • ¼ tsp. Baking soda
  • 1 tsp. Baking powder
  • 1/3 cup Sliced almonds, to top and sprinkle

Tsp = Teaspoon

Tbsp = Tablespoon



  1. Pre-heat your oven to 180°C.
  2. Lightly sprinkle flour in your Cook-Out Bread Pot and set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, on medium speed, beat the butter and sugar until creamy, for about 3 minutes. Add the egg, yogurt, milk and vanilla, and beat to combine.
  4. In a medium bowl whisk together the flour, baking soda and baking powder. Add the flour mixture to the creamed mixture and stir with a wooden spoon until combined.
  5. Gently fold in the chopped peaches.
  6. Gently spoon the peach mixture in the prepared bread pot and top with the sliced almonds.
  7. Place in the preheated oven and leave to bake for approximately 40 minutes.
  8. Let the bread cool completely before slicing. Enjoy!

Tip: Test whether you can remove the bread from the oven with a toothpick.
