Almond and Fresh Peach Bread
Ingredients:
- 2 Large peaches, semi firm and ripe
- 1/3 cup Butter, at room temperature
- 1 cup Granulated sugar
- 2 ½ tbsp. Brown sugar
- 1 Large egg, at room temperature
- ½ cup Regular vanilla yogurt, plus an extra 2 tbsp.
- 2 tbsp. Milk, at room temperature
- ½ tsp. Vanilla
- 1 ¾ cups All-purpose flour
- ¼ tsp. Baking soda
- 1 tsp. Baking powder
- 1/3 cup Sliced almonds, to top and sprinkle
Tsp = Teaspoon
Tbsp = Tablespoon

- Pre-heat your oven to 180°C.
- Lightly sprinkle flour in your Cook-Out Bread Pot and set aside.
- In a large bowl, on medium speed, beat the butter and sugar until creamy, for about 3 minutes. Add the egg, yogurt, milk and vanilla, and beat to combine.
- In a medium bowl whisk together the flour, baking soda and baking powder. Add the flour mixture to the creamed mixture and stir with a wooden spoon until combined.
- Gently fold in the chopped peaches.
- Gently spoon the peach mixture in the prepared bread pot and top with the sliced almonds.
- Place in the preheated oven and leave to bake for approximately 40 minutes.
- Let the bread cool completely before slicing. Enjoy!
Tip: Test whether you can remove the bread from the oven with a toothpick.
